43rd Annual Capitola Art & Wine Festival
September 12 & 13, 2026

Art, wine, music, dance, and good vibes…all in the enchanting beach-side setting of Capitola Village. Summer’s last hurrah, and truly a weekend in paradise! 

Stroll the Festival sipping exceptional wines from 22 Santa Cruz Mountain wineries while admiring the artistic talents of over 150 fine artists. Enjoy live music, be inspired by local dance groups, and street performers. 

The Capitola Art & Wine Festival is a community event hosted by the Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce. It is the premier fundraiser supporting the Capitola-Soquel Chamber, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization, as well as the local school and community groups that assist with the festival. We are grateful to our hardworking volunteers who help in more ways than we can count. It takes a village, and we are thankful for ours.

Admission is FREE!
Enjoy the festival, browse 150+ artists, and soak in the weekend’s festivities at no cost.

Wine Tasting
Wine tasting is available with the purchase of a 2026 Festival Glass ($20) and tasting tokens ($1 each). Tastings range from 2–5 tokens per pour.

21+ Wine Tasting Requirements
Guests must be 21 or older to participate in wine tasting. A valid ID will be checked before receiving a festival wristband. Wristbands are required for all wine tasting purchases and participation. Wine tastings must be served in the official 2026 Festival Glass.  

Free Bike Valet:
Ride your bike to the festival and enjoy complimentary bike valet service, hosted by students from the Harbor High Leadership Class - conveniently located across from the festival entrance in the David Lyng Parking Lot on Stockton Avenue. 

Free Parking and Shuttle:
Park at the Capitola Mall and take the complimentary festival shuttle to the event. Follow FESTIVAL SHUTTLE signs in the parking lot off Capitola Road near the Spirit Halloween parking area (former Sears building).

Shuttle runs: Saturday, 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM | Sunday, 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Volunteer:
Team: Sign-up HERE
Bring your team of 6–8 volunteers to staff a Glass & Token Booth and be part of one of Capitola’s favorite community traditions. Wear your team/company shirts, display your banner, and showcase your organization while helping create a memorable experience for festival guests.

Individual volunteer opportunities are also available, including set-up, tear-down, artist assistants, zone supervisors, and more. Join our festival team and help bring this beloved community event to life!

Artist Application:
The Capitola Art & Wine Festival is a juried show of original fine art. Artists of all mediums are encouraged to apply. This year's application window has closed. Application for 2027 will be available Feb 2027.
